♡ Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Review ♡

A while back I had purchased the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer in light/medium, and I absolutely love it.

I am definitely a person who buys products based on the cute packaging...BUT! Before making this purchase I read a few reviews, and it seems to be a really popular product.

I love that this bronzer is matte, because my skin is pretty oily. I was previously using a bronzer from Victoria's Secret which had shimmer in it, so I had to be pretty careful with the application.
I will definitely be buying this product again!

Nightly skincare routine ♡

Lately I've been loving Shiseido's skincare products! Specifically the Benefique line.

"The finest Asian botanical ingredients meets
Shiseido's cutting edge science that boosts skin's
inner strength, and revitalizes its outer beauty.

Formulated with energizing nutrients.
Benefique delivers ideal solutions directly to skin.
Dryness, roughness and other skin concerns to disappear.
The results are viable, tangible, and they add up, day by day."

This line has ingredients such as tiger lily, ginseng, and angelica root to help the skin maintain its moisture, and give your skin anti aging benefits. My skin is pretty oily, so I like using this line at night. I tried using this in the daytime which wasn't a very good idea. ;~; It just made my skin super oily. But I've noticed that when I use this at night, my skin is really smooth and it clears up.

Shiseido cleansers are AMAZING. They make your skin squeaky clean, and you barely have to use any product  for a nice lather! If you were to purchase any product from the Benefique line, I would recommend this one highly. This product is about 30 dollars.

This is Shiseido's Benefique lotion, which is toner. After cleaning your face, you put this product on a cotton pad and wipe it on your face! I LOVE toner. It really helps get all of the makeup or dirt off that still may be on your skin after cleansing. I used to not use toner at all, but I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin after using it.

And finally, this is the Benefique emulsion, which is the moisturizer. There is Emulsion 1 and 2. Emulsion 1 is a little more watery, so I would recommend this to someone with oily skin. I got emulsion 2 because that's what came in the set I bought. So after cleansing and toning the skin, you just use this to moisturize!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

♡ February Favorites ♡

Sorry this post is a bit late, but I wanted to make a post about the things I loved during the month of February!

This is the argan mask sheet from my work! This mask is super moisturizing, which I liked to use when my skin was dry during the week! We don't sell these in my store, (at least the ones with exo on it hehe) but we gave them away as gifts. My other favorite mask is the snail solution one.

This palette is SO beautiful. I had to decide between this one and the Naked 3, and decided to go with this! The Too Faced chocolate bar palette is amazing because of the color payoff, and it actually smells like chocolate! You can create so many different pretty looks with this. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are shopping around!

I LOVE this lipstick! It's MAC in the shade "please me". I used to be afraid of wearing pink lipstick since I didn't think I could pull it off, but I love this one! It's a beautiful long lasting matte shade. It's a nice everyday lipstick.

This is another goodie I bought from work! This has been one of the best mascaras I have tried. It makes my lashes long and dark. I don't recommend doubling this up with a different mascara since it may clump up, but if you use it alone it doesn't clump! This mascara is sort of difficult to remove since it's waterproof, but I don't mind too much!

I bought this at Bath and Body Works, and it smells SO good!!! Strawberry banana smoothies are my favorite, so when I saw this in the store I had to get it! True blue products are amazing, so I definitely want to encourage you guys to go take a look at their other products!

Last but not least, the Too Faced powder! You can either use this before or after makeup, but I prefer to use this afterwards. This powder is really good if you want to prevent your makeup from getting so oily, or if you just want to set your makeup. This also helps to minimize pores!

I hope you liked this post! What were your favorite things in February?

Sally Hansen Xtreme Nail Color Review ♡

Hi everyone! I've been trying out different nail polishes here and there, and it's always hard to find one that's pigmented, or won't chip! On a random trip to walmart, I bought this polish! The color is called Lacey Lilac.

This nail polish is actually amazing! The color payoff is beautiful, and this polish doesn't really chip as fast as most nail polish will. It also dries really fast.

This is what the color looks like on my nails! It's such a pretty pastel. I already have quite a few of these polishes in my collection hehe. They sell for about 3 dollars most places, but I'm sure you could even find these on ebay for cheaper!

Pros: Beautiful Colors
Long Lasting
Fast Drying
Affordable

Cons: Get's clumpy with more coats

New skin care favorite....snail solution?!?!

Yep, you read the title right! SNAIL!
So what this is, is a facial cleanser with a small percentage of filtered snail mucus in it! This product is from my work (Nature Republic) and I didn't seem to be able to find a link to order this directly from Nature Republic, but this is the link for ebay! This product is from Korea. Also, I've read about the benefits of snail solution, and in some places, people pay a ton of money to have live snails crawl across their face, so snail solution is pretty popular! I've used the snail solution toner and moisturizer for awhile, and it actually helped clear up some of my acne and discoloration, as well as some redness on my cheeks. I've had customers tell me that the snail solution products they've used had helped lift and brighten the skin. Look into this stuff!

Coffee Scrub ♡

What you'll need:

  • TBSP (a spoon from the kitchen w/e)
  • A bowl
  • Coffee grounds
  • Olive Oil
After you get all of these ingredients, you'll need to put the coffee grounds into the bowl. Instead of tossing the coffee grounds from the morning in the trash, I use it for this! ^-^ After putting the grounds into a bowl, put a few tablespoons of olive oil into it as well. Then you can mix it up and use it in the shower!

Using the coffee scrub is supposed to "get rid" of cellulite/stretch marks. I used this scrub last night, and it did tighten my skin (since the caffeine gets your blood cells GOIN), but it didn't "get rid" of my stretch marks. But the stretch marks I have did disappear a little! My skin was also super soft and everything afterwards. I really like this scrub since it's really easy to do, and it makes my skin really nice! I hope you guys try it out!

Thanksgiving ♡

Good evening everyone! I hope you're all doing well. My family had a little Thanksgiving "get-together" yesterday, which was pretty nice. I am aware that plenty of people don't celebrate Thanksgiving or believe that it's a dumb thing to celebrate since "you take one day out of the year to be thankful for everything", but it's typically one of the only times I see my family out of town so I'm certainly thankful for that. Thanksgiving also gives me time to relax and appreciate those around me, rather than living through another hectic day.
ANYWAYS!!

My family came down, and we had our dinner and everything, then my little cousin wanted to go Black Friday shopping, which is literally HELL. I'm sorry for those of you who have to work through it, and I hope no one was too rude or obnoxious! I didn't buy anything, I just looked around to people watch, oops...But no, I didn't buy anything and I didn't really need to.

Sorry this post is so short! I'll have some other stuff up soon!
